Marine Foods Ltd is a seafood export company based in Tauranga, New Zealand.

Our staff have many years of experience in seafood trading, quality control, international logistics and documentation. Here at Marine Foods we are experienced and competent international seafood professionals.

We are aware of the necessity to provide our customers with prompt responses to their queries. We aim to reply to all customer enquires within the same working day and our trading team works extra evening hours to ensure we are almost always available.

The New Zealand seafood that Marine Foods exports is caught under the New Zealand quota management system. Implemented in 1986, this is one of the oldest global quota management systems currently operating in the world; it is also widely regarded as one of the best. Our "wild fish" catches have been sustainably harvested in conditions closely monitored by New Zealand government agencies since 1986.

We can supply sustainable certification for most of the New Zealand seafood we export:

• EU catch certification
• HACCP certification
• MSC certification (for those New Zealand species which are MSC certified)

Marine Foods is an independent company and because of this, has the ability to access the best quality seafoods from a wide range of New Zealand producers at competitive prices.

We are in touch with the majority of the catching vessels and factories in New Zealand and are able to provide expert advice on catching patterns and market prices so that customers can make well informed decisions.

We are able to combine stocks from a variety of producers in order to provide mixed containers that are specific to customer requirements.

We can also arrange independent quality inspection reports on the seafood we supply to ensure customers are satisfied with the seafood we deliver.
